Fake Science Music Store announces the release of recordings from 2 live concerts performed by the legendary ambient musician Robert Rich. The recordings comprise three LP releases. Every set is a microcosm of Rich’s 25+ year recording history, and feature his elaborate sound construction through synthesizers, MOTM modular synth, processed steel guitar, and bansuri.

Live at Morrison Planetarium was recorded in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. The planetarium was housed inside the California Academy of Sciences, and provided an amazing 360 degree audience area with a full dome ceiling. This recording is 90 minutes long and includes a short Quicktime movie of concert footage.

Live at Fort Mason comprises two sets and was recorded in Cowell Theatre in San Francisco. Set 1 of this recording begins with a 12 minute improvised piano solo by Rich, the likes of which has never been recorded or released.

These recordings have only ever been heard on Dub Beautiful Radio, and are available for the first time to fans as digital downloads.
